Algeria Flags

The current Algeria flag came into existence following the nation's independence from the French in 1962. The background is half white and half green. The flag features a red emblem with images of a crescent moon and star, symbols of Islam. The color green represents Islam and white signifies purity. The flag was originally created by a revolutionary leader named Messali Hadj in 1928, and was used by the revolutionaries as an exiled government flag, until independence was gained.

Our top-quality Algeria flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.
