Equatorial Guinea Flags
The Equatorial Guinea flag as we know it was first flown in 1968. From 1972-79 a different emblem was used. The original flag coat of arms was displayed again after this date. The flag has three horizontal stripes; Green at the top, white in the center and red at the bottom. There is a sky blue triangle on the left side. In the center of the white stripe is a coat of arms, which depicts a silk cotton tree. A set of six stars appears above the coat of arms, while the motto, “Unidad Paz Justica,” appears below it.
