France Flags

In Medieval times, a blue flag with three fleurs-de-lis was used as the flag of France. The French flag then changed to white, and then it changed to a blue flag with a white cross. The present day French flag (Tricolore) was first flown in 1794. It has 3 vertical stripes of blue, white and red. It was designed in 1790 but the colors were reversed. With Napoleon’s defeat at Waterloo the flag was not used for a time. In 1830 it was flown again and has been flying ever since.

Our top-quality France flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.
