Kirabati Flags

Kiribati, formerly named the Gilbert Islands was once part of Britain. The Kiribati flag was adopted on July 12, 1979 when the country gained its independence. The flag was designed from the banner of the coat of arms that was given to the country in 1937. The flag is technically a banner because it was derived directly from a coat of arms. The bird on the flag represents freedom, authority and command of the sea. The sun is rising over the red sky representing the equator and the blue and white lines signify the Pacific Ocean. The sun has 17 rays emanating from it to represent the 17 islands that made up the original country.

Our top-quality Kirabati flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.
