Malta Flags

The Malta flag has two equal halves of white and red. The top left corner has a gray King George Cross outlined in red. King George VI of Great Britain awarded the George Cross, a military award for gallantry, to Malta in 1942 to recognize Maltese heroism during World War II. The Maltese flag was adopted on September 21, 1964, the day that Malta became independent from Britain. The white and red on the Maltese flag comes from the badge of the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem who ruled Malta from 1530 to 1798. The flag is different from the "Maltese Cross," a merchant flag featuring a different cross.

Our top-quality Malta flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.
