Marshall Islands Flags

The Marshall Islands flag represents the nation's geographical location. The country is located just north of the equator, which is represented by the stripes. The blue background symbolizes the Pacific Ocean. Orange, used on the top stripe, is a traditional color of the Marshall Islands and stands for bravery. The 24-pointed star stands for the 24 municipalities within the Marshall Islands. The longer points represent the Christian cross. The current flag was adopted in 1979. However, the Marshall Islands did not gain independence from the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands until 1986. The President's wife, Emlain Kabua, designed the flag.

Our top-quality Marshall Islands flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.

Ideal for indoor or outdoor display, our world flags are made of Nyl-Glo 100% heavyweight nylon, and specially treated to minimize deterioration due to sun, wind and rain.
