Mauritius Flags

Mauritius gained independence from Britain and adopted its flag in 1968. Prior to its liberation, the flag had the Union Jack emblem on it. This was removed after independence. The flag consists of four equal horizontal stripes. The top red stripe represents the country's fight for independence. The blue stripe symbolizes the Indian Ocean, which surrounds the island. The yellow stripe stands for a bright and shining future. The bottom green stripe represents the rich vegetation and agriculture on the island. The four equal stripes mean that the country is balanced in its vision for the future.

Our top-quality Mauritius flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.
