Morocco Flags

The Moroccan flag is a red flag with a green-outlined, five-pointed star in the middle. The star is known as the "Seal of Solomon." Red is the color of the reigning Moroccan dynasty. The Seal of Solomon is used to show the link between the nation and God. The Moroccan flag was adopted in 1915. Morocco gained independence from France in 1956. The original flag did not use the seal. The seal was added to differentiate the flag from other similar red flags of other nations.
