Nigeria Flags

The Nigerian flag was adopted on October 1, 1960, the same day that it gained independence from Britain. The flag design was chosen as a result of a national contest. The winning design was created by Taiwo Akinkunmi and was chosen from almost 3,000 entries. The flag has three vertical stripes. The outer stripes are both green, which represents the agriculture and plentiful vegetation of the county. The middle white stripe symbolizes the desire for peace and unity in the country. Nigerian laws prohibit other flags to be flown above the Nigerian flag and flags that are torn or soiled cannot be displayed.

Our top-quality Nigeria flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.

Ideal for indoor or outdoor display, our world flags are made of Nyl-Glo 100% heavyweight nylon, and specially treated to minimize deterioration due to sun, wind and rain.

Our world flags are extremely durable, fast-drying, and boast brilliant, fast colors. These flags are also finished with strong canvas headings, reinforced stitching and large metal grommets.
