Norway Flags

The Norway flag was adopted in 1821 and is derived from the flags of France, Britain and the United States. The cross that is depicted by the offset of stripes is often referred to as a Scandinavian Cross. The blue cross outlined by white stripes represents the link that Norway has with other Scandinavian countries. The design of the blue cross was based on the Danish flag since Norway was ruled by Denmark for several hundred years. The original flag featured an emblem that represented a union between Norway and Sweden but it was removed in 1905.

Our top-quality Norway flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.
