Somalia Flags

The Somalia flag features a blue base with a white five-pointed star at its center. The flag was adopted on October 12, 1954 and was inspired by the flag of the United Nations. Somalia gained independence from Italy in 1960 and united with the former British Somaliland to form the current Somalia. The flag was designed by Mohammed Awale Liban. The blue background represents the blue sky and the white star depicts the five historical regions originally inhabited by the Somali people including Italian Somaliland, British Somaliland, French Somaliland, the Ogaden region and North Kenya.

Our top-quality Somalia flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.
