Q: What is the difference between this and a spinning flagpole?

A: With a spinning pole, the top half of the two-piece flagpole spins on internal ball bearings. With prolonged use, the aluminum flagpole can crack and the ball bearings can be lost, causing the flagpole to no longer spin. This Never Furl Flagpole Kit includes a one-piece 6’ fiberglass flagpole. The two collar sets include a collar with a nylon flag clip on a tab that spins freely, and a stopper that is tightened to the pole to keep the collar from moving too much.

Q: How does the Never Furl collar work?

A: While this Never Furl Flagpole Kit comes preassembled, you would first slide the collar with tab side up to the top of your flagpole. Then slide the ring with the screw up to just below the collar and tighten it to the pole. Then repeat with the bottom collar set with the tab on the bottom at the length of your flag header. Then attach both grommets on the flag to the nylon snap hooks on the collars. The tabbed collar spins to stop your flag wrapping around your pole.
