Malawi Flags

Malawi was originally part of Britain. It gained independence on July 6, 1964 and on that day adopted a new flag. Malawi was a British protectorate called Nyasaland from the late 19th century until 1964. The Malawi flag is derived from a banner that was used by the Malawi Congress Party when they were campaigning for independence. The Malawi flag has a black stripe to represent the people of Africa. The red color is to represent the blood that was lost in their struggle for independence. The green color shows the vegetation of the county. The rising sun shows the dawn of freedom.

Our top-quality Malawi flags conform to all official specifications. Emblems and designs are executed with the highest possible degree of accuracy in regard to detail, color shades, placement and proportion to flag size.
