Shipping Information

Our primary goal at AmericanFlags.com is to get your merchandise to you as safely, securely and quickly as possible.
Listed below is some basic information about our shipping policies:
COVID-19 Update: September 4, 2020 Our team is working around the clock to make sure that your order is shipped quickly, securely and with care to your home or office. Some items are taking longer than usual 24-48 hours to ship because many flag manufacturers have temporarily turned to making masks for health care workers and first responders. Many warehouses, including ours' have had to reduce staffing and/or change our processes to facilitate workplace safety. USPS, UPS and Fed-Ex are also experiencing some delivery delays. If you need an item by a particular date, please include a note in your order comments and we will do our level best to meet your needs.
In normal circumstances, orders ship within 24-48 hours, though some items may take longer, especially during peak times like Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, Veteran's Day and Christmas. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout and we offer you the option of selecting a preferred shipping speed. Your shipping selection does not impact how quickly your order leaves our warehouse, but instead, the actual time your order is likely to be transit. Expedited orders, however, are generally shipped before standard orders.
Types of Shipping Available We offer Expedited Shipping which is generally a 3-5 business day transit time and Standard Shipping which is generally a 5-7 business day transit time after processing.
We generally use USPS and UPS and will select a carrier based on the shipping option you selected, your location, and the items you ordered. Our goal is the fastest, safest and most efficient delivery of your items. We never add handling fees to your shipping costs and are passing on exactly what the carrier charges us to ship your package to you, which varies based on what you buy and where you live.
We can't be responsible for shipping delays once your package has left our warehouse. We happily ship to APO addresses and to most countries outside the United States.
Our large flagpoles (20' and up) as well as certain wall-mounted and roof flagpoles ship via private trucking/freight companies. If you are interested in purchasing a large flagpole from us, please call or email us for an estimated shipping charge. Let us know the following: which model flagpole you'd like; zip code of destination; and whether the delivery address is a residential or commercial location. We'll give you a quote right away and process your order promptly. If you don't contact us before placing your order online, we'll email you a shipping quote to approve before we ship.


We can usually do it! On the last page of our online order form, just before you submit your order, you will see an area for “Special Instructions” where you can indicate a “must-have by date.” If any additional charges apply, we'll give you a call or shoot you an email to get your approval.

Order Confirmation and Order Receipts An order confirmation and receipt are e-mail to you shortly after you place your order. Please be aware some “spam blockers” block these receipts.
Holiday Shipping We do our best to pack holiday orders as fast as possible. During Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, Christmas and other special occasions we post updated shipping information at the top of this page.
